CHEAP TRICKS that all the kids love!
  1. Tomato and noodle soup
  2. Leftover plain cake dessert
  3. Leftover breakfast cereals
  4. Egg noodle pancake

TOMATO AND NOODLE SOUP.

Two cans tomato soup. Make as per can directions. Add half packet interesting shaped noodles and simmer, stirring occasionally until noodles are tender.

LEFT OVER PLAIN CAKE DESSERT

Yummy Stale cake ideas.

Cut cake into serving slices, drizzle with syrup or honey etc., place in microwave until warm and moist, serve with side dressing of fruit and whipped cream.

LEFT OVER BREAKFAST CEREALS.

In our house there always seems to be a couple of inches left in every cereal box that nobody wants. They would rather open a new one that is fresher. Don't despair. Empty all those boxes, i.e. wheat bix, muesli, rice bubbles etc., into a bowl. Add the same amount of Self raising flower, coconut, brown sugar, and enough melted butter to bind all ingredients together. Place in lamington tin and bake in moderate oven. Cover with chocolate or carob icing when cold. Slice into muesli bar sizes. Great for those mornings that are rushed and there is no time to sit down to breakfast, or for school lunch boxes.

EGG NOODLE PANCAKE.

Great for snacks or Saturday night tea.

Cook up instant two minute noodles. Drain.

In separate bowl mix 4 eggs with 3/4 cup milk, salt and pepper. Mix well. Add noodles. Drop large spoonfuls onto frypan and cook as for pancakes. Fills every hungry stomach after school without costing a fortune.
